SĂRBĂTOAREA DE IARNĂ - NASTEREA LUI IISUS
RO 🇷🇴 ❄️✨

EN 🇬🇧 ❄️✨
Christmas (Dec 25) is widely kept as the day of Jesus’ birth. Yet the Bible doesn’t give an exact date, and some clues (shepherds in the fields, the census, the flow of Jewish feasts) led many to think it may have been in autumn. 📖🌙
Just as fascinating is how, over time, the Church “renamed” and reshaped older customs: Saturnalia-style gift giving 🎁, festivals of light 🕯️, evergreen symbols 🌲. The outcome is a blend of history, faith, and traditions that still bring people together. 🤍
